Whitley, Clerk to the Company. 10" x 8", 2 pages. All written in longhand, ink. Signed in ink by Whitley. It includes a Form of Proxy. As sent to a Share Holder. Excellent history. It has been folded but generally fine condition.

All are fully detailed general arrangement drawings to a scale of 3 inches to one foot with parts in full size, all in ink with colour washes in parts, on linen backed cartridge paper, showing side and end elevation and plan views, with dimensions and notes. These are the master drawings from which print copies were made: Drawing No. 16955, dated 30 November 1899. Engine Firedoor Arrangement. 19" x 26.5". A lever operated firebox door, with frame and deflector plate in wrotiron (sic) and the air door and liner in steel: Drawing No. 17099, 28 August 1899. Engine Leading Sandbox Arrangement. 26" x 39". A gravity feed device with the box mounted on the front of the wheel splasher, in cast iron and steel: Drawing 17301, 12th October 1899. Tender Tool Box. 19" x 26.5", Hand Tool Box in steel with wrought iron carrier brackets: Drawing 17303, 12th October 1899. Tender Door for Cab. 26" x 39", a waist high door between engine and tender, in steel with fittings in wrought iron: Drawing 17304, 4th October 1899. Tender Tool and Sandbox. 26" x 39". Boxes in wood, Deal for the body with lids in Teak, fittings in iron. Interesting history, showing here in the detail that these locomotives had lasting quality built into them. The drawings show signs of use but are quite clean and bright, rolled, in generally fine condition.
