243-0447. The Piraeus-Athens-Peloponnesus Railway Company. Certificate of Five Bonds to Bearer of One Hundred Pounds Sterling each, and their interest at Four Per Cent per Annum. Issued in January 1912, signed by all concerned and revenue stamped. 15.75" x 20.5" brown and black on light brown, lithographed by G. Aspiotis Freres-Corfou, in an ornate bank note style on quality paper. Incorporating a vignette showing an 0-4-4-0 locomotive and four wheeled tender, and an elaborate border with devices in the corners, etcetera. All text in English, French and Greek. Attached are unused Interest Coupons for the period, second half of 1939 to first half of 1944. The Bond has seemingly not been cancelled. Most impressive and suited for display. Generally very fine condition.

Alas the loose map that was issued with this is not extant. This is creased on the bottom front corner of several pages but is otherwise without damage.
