234-4509. Locomotive Coupling Rod for works No. 800. Probably a 4-4-0 type. Manuscript Engineers Drawing. Neilson & Co. Hyde Park Loco Works, Glasgow. 7th December 1897. For the construction of a new engine. 26" x 39" linen backed cartridge paper, draughted in ink with parts in gouache colour to full size and other scale, drawn by "I.D. Ward." This is the master drawing from which subsequent tracings and printed copies are made for use in the workshops. Showing all elevations, with bearing brasses and lubricators. An attractive item, rolled. Some fraying to edges without loss of content, otherwise generally fine condition.

234-4511. "New railway and general traffic bridge at Dresden." Wood Engraved Drawing. Picture size 5.25" x 9", on an extracted page from The Illustrated London News. 1st May 1852, 15.75" x 10.5". A nicely embellished structure which carries the railway and road traffic across the River Elbe, a train is seen on the bridge together with numerous pedestrians, and sailing ships and barges on the river. Included is a short text article. This is without folds and in very fine condition. We will send it rolled.

Temporary Certificate, for ten series B Ordinary Shares of par value 100 Chilean Pesos per share, issued July 1931. 8" x 11.5", black & brown on white. 2 sides, engraved by the Republic Bank Note Co. Pittsburgh, Pa. Signed by all parties. The company was newly formed at this time and this certificate states that it is exchangeable for the permanent scrip when ready for delivery. The company came to own and operate extensive railways in connection with their interests. A good item in fine condition.
