(Trains and Engines) set, November 1904, with company advert in the correspondence section. 3.5" x 5.5". This has the "greatly improved and accelerated services" advert giving times taken from Euston to various places. Very appropriate as the locomotive type shown assisted in making these times possible. Posted May 1905. Alsop LNW-900-P1. Fine condition.

Excellent history. Folded in very fine condition.

Wolverton Works, dated June 1913. 38" x 26", company print, to a scale of 3" to one foot. Showing the general arrangement in side and end elevations, and plan views. Giving major dimensions and constructional notes. This is the corridor connection between carriages. This has got various B.R. rubber stampings. Folded. Generally fine condition.

233-3940. Widening between Speke and Widnes. Public Road Bridge over the railway at 4 miles & 62 chains. Manuscript Engineers Working Drawing, for the construction required to add lines of railway to existing track. Dated 2nd February 1882. 25" x 38", linen backed cartridge paper, drawn in black & red ink with colour wash in parts, to a scale of 8 feet to one inch. Showing detailed elevation and plan views with parts in section. A brick built arch structure over double lines of railway adding to the crossing of multiple lines. Later known as Bridge No. 65, Temperley Garston Lane. The Chief Engineers copy, from Euston archive. Rubber stamped. Rolled. Slight grubiness but generally very fine condition.

Cook & Hammond, Westminster. To a scale of 35 links to one inch. Showing the proposed works with the existing track layout and adjacent features in detail. The widening to be 1 furlong in length. This shows Tulse Hill station and includes the junction with and divergence of the London Chatham & Dover Railway line. This a a nice piece. Some slight foxing but rolled and in generally very fine condition.

Showing the course of proposed works with existing track layout and adjacent features in detail. Widenings of 1 mile 1 furlong, and 2 furlongs length. Includes Balham Junction Signal Box and Streatham Hill Station. Some age grubiness in places and a little foxing but rolled and in generally fine condition.

Circa 1927. 9.25" x 6" pictorial cloth boards + 184 pages illustrated by many drawings + 5 maps on 9 plates. Text by W.H. Walton, drawings by Reginald Green & S. Cawthorne. Giving a historic description of many of the sites on LMSR territory, with a wealth of information. A little discoloration to outer cover but generally very fine condition.

December 1923. 10" x 6.25", black on purple grey, 4 sides. Fares and times from Wolverhampton, Walsall, Tipton, Oldbury, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick, ... etcetera. Nice. Very fine condition.

233-3951. Dukinfield & Ashton to ..... 3rd Class, Foreign, Return Ticket. No. 033. This is an Edmondson size but is more unusual in having a pocket with a pull-out advert "The Doctor's China Tea, used and recommended by the medical profession. Harden Bros & Lindsay, Ltd., London." The pull-out has the "Patent No. 262522" which is the Registered number of this invention. The ticket is black on green. Not issued. Clipped but otherwise mint condition.

233-3953. London Midland & Scottish Railway Company. Certificate for 4 per cent, Guaranteed Stock. Written for "8 pounds" of Stock, most strangely it is Registered in the name of "The London Midland & Scottish Railway Company, Euston Station." and dated "4th February 1924." Most strange, the company seemingly having shares in themselves! 5.5" x 9.5", green on cream, with L.M.&S.R." watermark. This has been "Cancelled" by perforation and rubber stamp and states that "This stock is now represented by British Transport Stock." A less often seen piece. Fine condition.
