Issued for Ten Shares in June 1914, printed with the Company Seal, signed by all required parties, and including a printed Revenue Stamp. 8.5" x 11.5", engraved in an ornate style in black and brown on quality paper by the American Bank Note Company, New York. With a decorative border and incorporating a nice vignette showing a steam hauled train running into a busy station. Seemingly not cancelled. Excellent history. Fine condition.

229-1619. St. Louis, Alton and Terre Haute Railroad Company. Incorporated in the States of Illinois and Indiana. Certificate for Seven per Cent Preferred Capital Stock. Issued in October 1879 for 100 Shares of One Hundred Dollars each. Fully signed by all concerned. 7" x 10.5", engraved in red on white quality paper, in an ornate style by "Henry Seobert & Bros., New York". Incorporating two vignettes, one showing a passenger train, headed by a 4-4-0 type locomotive running into a station, the other with cattle and a train in background. This has been "Cancelled" in ink and with holes punched through the signatures. Very nice. Scarce. Some age discolouration but otherwise fine condition.

Issued in June 1955, printed with the Company Seal and signed in ink by all required parties. 8.25" x 12.25", printed in an ornate style in black and blue on quality white paper by the Security Banknote Company. With a decorative border and incorporating a double vignette showing a steam locomotive and a steam ship with an allegorical man between. The Certificate has been "Cancelled" by a perforation punch. Nice history, most suited for display. Very fine condition.

As displayed in the signalbox, usually above the lever frame. 8.5" x 27". Showing by type all points, signals and other equipment worked, with the respective lever numbers and distance of signal from the box. First class information. All these are folded and in very fine condition.
