We produce eight different catalogues per year together with a January Sale issue, they will come out at six week intervals. We will as usual give a delightful mix of material in each catalogue and back this up with the excellent customer service you would want and expect. Goods will be carefully packaged and dispatched within seven working days of receiving your order.

Covers all of England, Scotland and Wales. Top right corner has been cut off title page otherwise very fine condition.

A look at B.R. steam working in various places. Very fine condition.

First edition in this form being reprinted from a long series of articles in The Railway Magazine from 1915 to 1927. 9" x 6" cloth boards in a very fine condition wrapper . 10 + 175 pages with a few diagrams in text + 24 pages with 48 photos. A very detailed and informative record of the period by this famous locomotive engineer author. Note that all of these are complete books in their own right. Now quite hard to come by. Ottley 3785. 229-1175. Baldwin. Pioneers ...... Brochure, introducing "The Worlds Most Powerful Diesel-Electric Unit." Baldwin Locomotive Works, Philadelphia, U.S.A. 1946. 8.5" x 11", 4 sides illustrated by colour artwork and diagrams of the locomotive, with performance data and specifications. Stunning art, a really nice piece in very fine condition.
229-1176. The Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company. Certificate of Common Stock. Written for Five Shares of One Hundred Dollars each. Issued in 1958, fully signed by all required parties. 7.5" x 11.25", green and black on white quality paper, engraved in an ornate style by the "International Bank Note Co. New York." Incorporating an attractive vignette showing a very early passenger train hauled by a four wheeled vertical boiler locomotive engine with an open truck loaded with wooden barrels next to it, which I presume were holding water for the boiler; followed by a closed double decked carriage and an open carriage which both derive from horse drawn vehicles before being adapted for the railway. The certificate has been "Cancelled in August 1958" by rubber stamping and three holes punched in each signature. An impressive piece that is suited for mounting in a glazed frame for display. Very fine condition.
