227-0360. Mexico., National Railways of. Certificate for Ten Shares of the Second Preferred Stock of the Ferrocarriles Nacionales de Mexico. Each of a par value of two hundred Mexican Gold Pesos or one hundred Dollars gold coin of the United States of America. Issued in New York in February 1909, signed by all parties and including a printed Revenue stamp. 10.5" x 14", two sides, engraved by the American Bank Note Company, New York, in a decorative style in green and black on white with a border and vignette portrait. It has not been cancelled. Together with a full sheet, 10.5" x 14", double sided, of dividend coupons. Impressive. Generally fine condition.

Most important information and great history. This and those following are rubber stamped "B.R. L.M.R. C&W Drawing Office, Derby," and dated in 1950s. All are rolled and in generally very fine condition.

Covering all rail services in the sub-continent, some bus and rail services, internal air services, and some river boat services. This copy has not been much used but cover is showing signs of age, otherwise very fine condition.

The original document, signed by the Tenant. 13" x 8.25", printed cover + 5 pages. It includes a Schedule of fittings and fixtures in the house which is situated at Greatham Terrace.

227-0385. North Eastern Railway. New Engine Stable, St. Helens Junction, nr. West Auckland. Engineers Working Drawings, used during the construction by John Johnson & Son, the contractor, dated 1885. All are manuscript, ink and colour wash, on linen backed cartridge paper. The set was used during building and has various pencil annotation, all sheets are rubber stamped by "N.E.R. Architects Office, York." and "B.R. North Eastern Region." Apparently no print copies were made. Sheet No. 1. Site Plan. 23" x 28", scale 33 feet to one inch. Showing the square round-house building, coal stage and yard. Sheet No. 3. Ground Plan of Engine House. 26" x 40". Scale 8 feet to an inch. Shows interior, turntable, engine pits, mess room, office, etc. No. 6. Front and Side Elevations of engine house. 26" x 40". Exterior views, nice drawings. No. 5. Section Elevations, Engine House. 25" x 40". 8' 1". long and lat. on centre line, includes table well, smoke vents and pits. Nice. All are detailed with major dimensions. This set is of special interest with an excellent provenance, original and unique. Rolled, some overall grubbiness but all is legible. No. 1. is somewhat creased and a little frayed, Nos. 5 & 6 are in generally fine condition. Overall they have survived 116 years very well, they will please.
